General Council

The General Council is the representative body of the profession, both at national and global level, and coordinates the policy and actions implemented by the Councils of the Regional Associations and the Councils of Administrative Agents.

It is a Public Law Corporation for all purposes, with its own legal personality and full capacity to fulfil its purposes.

As the highest representative body of the profession, the General Council is the natural instrument to channel the relationship with the competent Administrations, for the purposes provided in the legislation concerning Professional Associations.

It is a democratic body, for the service of the Administrative Agent profession and the professionals included within this group.

The Council consists of ex officio members (the presidents of the official colleges) and elected members (members of the Executive Committee, elected among the members with more than five years in the exercise of the profession), and its functions are carried out through the Plenary Board, the Executive Committee and the Presidency.
