Local Associations
Administrative agents are members of their local Associations, whose mission is to represent the professionals before the Public Administrations and other organizations established within their territory.
These professional associations must regulate, within their areas of competence, the professional activity of their members, ensuring the ethics and the professional dignity of the profession, as well as the due respect for the rights of individuals and anybody who requires their services, exercising disciplinary powers within the professional and organisational fields.
Any person who hires the services of an administrative manager and wishes to check the veracity of his or her membership can contact the relevant professional association in order to verify his/her situation.
In addition, these bodies are also responsible for the relationship with all the administrative and governmental authorities with jurisdiction within their territorial scope, without prejudice to the required coordination with the General Council and the Councils of the different Regional Associations.
They also guarantee the compliance with professional standards; ensure that the prestige in the profession is maintained; organise common activities and services of interest to collegiate members, bringing legal actions against those who illicitly exercise before the Public Administrations those professional functions entrusted to administrative agents. Likewise, they also monitor the compliance by the members of their obligations vis-à-vis the association.
On the other hand, they organize and manage the channelling of procedures through the association, exclusively for the streamlining thereof and upon request of the Administration, without prejudice to free competition; this will require the approval of the General Meeting, in the manner and subject to the requirements set forth in the Internal Regulations of each Association.
In particular, the Professional Associations can request from the competent bodies the implementation in public offices of the measures required to allow the members to develop their work with the utmost agility and efficiency.

Regional Councils
The primary purpose of these Councils is the interrelation with the regional and local Administrations, an activity which is fully endorsed and supported by the General Council before the central bodies.
Regional Councils exercise, on an exclusive basis, the powers of resolution of appeals filed against the actions of their different colleges, although they also exercise a disciplinary power over the members of their governing boards, and even over the members of the Regional Council itself, unless otherwise stated in their Articles of Association; in any case, they will report to the General Council in connection with the resolution of those issues submitted to their jurisdiction.
When the exercise of the powers of the General Council may directly affect a specific Autonomous Community, the relevant Regional Council shall be previously consulted.
